Our Story

Founded in 2005 by Chef Rajesh Sharma, Himalayan Spice began as a small family restaurant with a big dream - to bring the authentic flavors of Nepal and Northern India to food enthusiasts around the world.

Chef Rajesh grew up in a small village near Kathmandu, where he learned the art of cooking from his grandmother. The recipes have been passed down through generations, preserving the traditional cooking techniques and unique blend of spices that make Himalayan cuisine so distinctive.

After moving to the United States and working in several renowned restaurants, Chef Rajesh decided to open his own establishment to showcase the rich culinary heritage of his homeland. What started as a modest 20-seat restaurant has now grown into a beloved dining destination.

Today, we continue to honor those traditions while innovating with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Our chefs are trained in the art of balancing spices to create the perfect harmony of flavors that will transport you to the foothills of the Himalayas.

We offer comfortable seating for up to 80 guests, with private dining areas available for special events and celebrations. Our outdoor patio provides a pleasant al fresco dining option during the warmer months.
